Hi, I'm Kevin. I'm an associate consultant in the Chicago office and I went to the University of Michigan. I think I was interesting consulting because of the variability of the work. It's really hard when you're 22 years old to kind of figure out exactly what you want to do for the rest of your life, so I think that Bain gives you the opportunity to try a lot of different industries and learn from a lot of really smart people in order to understand what you want to do moving on. The case I'm currently on is in the data center infrastructure realm, which is super unique, super specific and very different than what I expected to be working on when I started at Bain. I think the cool thing about that, though, is that the point of working in something variable like consulting is that you try industries that you never even thought you'd be working through before.
